Established in 1967, Barmalt is India’s largest manufacturer and supplier of malt and malt extract. We offer over 30 variants of our malts, liquid and dry malt extracts and flakes.

MALT
We malt with carefully selected 2 row and 6 row barley, and also with other grains, such as wheat and rye, as per client requirements. Our extensive selection of malts enables brewers and distillers to create a wide range of products for consumers.
LIQUID MALT EXTRACT
Made with malted and wholesome grains, malt extract is a viscous, amber brown liquid, filled with malty flavours and natural sweetness. Our selection of liquid malt and cereal extracts are used in the confectionary, pharmaceutical, beverages and malted foods sectors.
DRY MALT EXTRACT POWDER
Our malt extract powders are prepared by vacuum drying liquid malt extract at high temperatures. A natural sweetener and rich in nutrients and flavours, our selection of dry malt and cereal extract powders are used in confectionery, pharmaceutical and malted foods sectors.
GRAIN FLAKES
Our coarse grain flakes are prepared from a wide range of whole grains, including barley, millet and wheat, and also malted wheat and barley grains. A healthy, wholesome and versatile product, flakes are great for crafting various healthy foods and snacks.
OUR INCEPTION
An idea that germinated back in 1967 in a small rural corner of New Delhi, India. It all began with brewer’s flakes and a strong passion to do more. This led to the establishment of our first malting unit.
